GMO crops promote superweeds, food insecurity and pesticides

link to video
"Genetic engineering has failed to increase the yield of any food crop but has vastly increased the use of chemicals and the growth of "superweeds", according to a report by 20 Indian, south-east Asian, African and Latin American food and conservation groups representing millions of people." The article from The Guardian refers to the Global Citizens' Report on the State of GMOs

The Guardian's video talks about superpests and superweeds in India. Similarly, GMO crops are breeding superpests and superweeds right here in the U.S.

We need to shift to a saner method of growing our food. And for that, we need GMO-free seeds (known as Safe Seeds).

Creating a GMO-Free Zone in Los Angeles is an effort to create a clear space -- free of GMO pollution -- where we can grow clean food and save Safe Seeds.
