Learn More

There are many places to learn more about seed freedom.  Here are a few to start:

As a Consumer

As a Gardener

Where to find GMO-free seeds

  1. seed vendors who have taken the Safe Seed Pledge -- these vendors will proudly display the pledge within the pages of their catalog or website
  2. Council for Responsible Genetics resource list
  3. Some of our favorite vendors include ... Bountiful Gardens, Baker's Creek,
  4. "borrow" seeds from the Seed Library of Los Angeles (SLOLA) at any of their meetings
  5. the members of Seed Savers Exchange, an international seed savers club
  6. open-pollinated seeds that have been saved for several plant-generations by friends, family, neighbors -- these can often be accessed at local seed swaps
